A vintage movie poster of ''Gunsmoke Ranch'', a 1937 Western film directed by Robert N. Bradbury and produced by A.W. Hackel. The film is notable for featuring the famous singing cowboy actor Gene Autry in one of his early movie roles. Here's a brief description of the movie:
Plot:
"Gunsmoke Ranch" follows the classic Western formula of good versus evil. In the film, Gene Autry plays a character named Gene Autry (a common practice in many of his films where he essentially plays himself), a singing cowboy who, along with his sidekick Frog Millhouse, portrayed by Smiley Burnette, arrives in the town of Torpedo to participate in a rodeo. However, they soon become entangled in a complex plot involving a gang of outlaws who are trying to gain control of a valuable dam and the water rights to the ranches in the area.
Autry, with his signature singing and riding skills, takes it upon himself to thwart the villains' plans, protect the ranchers, and bring the outlaws to justice...
